Are you interested in working for an innovative Multi Academy Trust which offers opportunities for progression and holds an ethos of inclusion and community at its heart?  Topcliffe Primary is seeking to appoint a Clerical Assistant to work alongside the Office Manager.  Are you looking to work in an exciting primary school where every pupil gets all the assistance they can to ensure they are given the best chance within education?

 We are looking to appoint a full time position commencing as soon as possible working Monday – Friday 8.30 am – 4.30 pm.

Topcliffe Primary School serves one of the most deprived areas in Birmingham. We are significantly above national average for pupils who have special educational needs and disabilities and who receive pupil premium. Similarly, having the largest resource base in the country here at Topcliffe, means we have a high proportion of children with Educational Health and Care Plans for ASD and Speech and language difficulties.

With a wealth of experience at our fingertips, you will have the opportunity to develop your own practice in specific techniques and strategies to support children.

We are looking for a Clerical Assistant who:

  • Must have proven office experience 
  • Enjoys working as part of a team, communicates well and prides themselves on their interpersonal skills
  • Is motivated, hardworking, flexible and dedicated to providing the best possible clerical support
  • Demonstrates high levels of literacy and numeracy skills
  • Has proven ability to support the Office Manager in meeting the needs of all staff and pupils

Visits to the school are positively encouraged on Monday 9 October @ 4.00pm.  

This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability to speak fluent spoken English is an essential requirement for this role.
