I had a fantastic long walk with Year 5 this week, progressing navigational skills previously learnt in school. I was over the moon with how they could set the map and use a compass to navigate from point to point! Poppies class have been practising their animal walks (slow old dog and snake) during a warm up to our sessions over the last two weeks. The 'snake' requires them to pull all of their body weight using just their arms! This morning, as part of a sensory motor circuit, we added the challenge of building a block tower whilst on the swing.
